Happy Easter and Progress Update

I don't have a great deal to report as far as income is concerned. I've sold a few PLR upgrades to my Dream Ebooks package.

The greatest progress I've made has been in building my list. I'm not going to make huge exaggerated statements about how many new list members I've acquired, but I have added several hundred readers by using JV Giveaways. The hardest part of Giveaway marketing is the designing of the pages, putting a good package together, and then promoting the event so my gift will be offered. If you don't get any signups (as a contributor) your gift is either moved to the end of the list of gifts or removed completely.

I am currently working on several projects: One is for my dreaming site, one is for a completely new site, and one is for my publishing site... this one is huge, and it will take a lot of work, but when it's done, I beleive it will be of great benefit and value to new and experienced internet marketers and business owners.

I still haven't made a single sale with Amazon or Clickbank. I think I'm finally above $20 with Adsense and so far, I haven't earned anything to write home about with my other affiliate programs.

The money is in your own products... so that's where I'm focusing my attention these days.

Well, I thinks that's all I have to report for today.

I won't be posting too much over the next few weeks because I want to finish a few of my projects, but I will post anything that comes up that I think you should know about.

Concerns about Adsense

I was informed yesterday that it is against Adsense terms to have their ads displayed on any pages that are promoted in traffic exchanges. I read Adsense's terms again and could find nothing about where we can promote our pages or about traffic exchanges.

I'm talking about landing pages and splash pages such as :http://www.nyxebusinesspublishing.com/super3.html

If anyone knows about this rule or non-existent rule I'd appreciate hearing from you. I posted the question on the Adsense help forum, but haven't received an answer.

An Update on My Progress

I'm very disappointed in my Googe Adsense Earnings. As of the end of December, I earned a whole $8.16. At this rate, I should earn the $100 payout by 2020 (LOL)

I didn't do very much promotion for clickbank, so this result doesn't reflect the income possibilities for the program.

WARNING...Don't Use Registerfly.com

I just want to warn you about Regeisterfly, a domain name and hosting company I've used.

I had been using Registerfly for almost 5 years, and all of a sudden, in the past 6 months, they've messed up almost every domain name I have with them. First they "forgot" to submit a new domain name to the Registrar, so for almost 2 months it was inactive.

Then, without any notice whatsoever, they transfered one of domain names to godaddy. I went to renew it and found out that it wasn't registered wth them anymore. After SEVERAL emails to support, they finally informed me that they sold the domain to GoDaddy, and that I had to go to GoDaddy to renew my domain. I did this, but was unable to renew the name. GoDaddy kept telling me I didn't have an account with them. So, I created an account, but this didn't help. Now, I have to wait and re-register the name.

And worst of all, one of my two primary business domains, the dream lady, was due for renewal. I logged in, clicked the 'renew' button and was informed that my domain could not be renewed with them, and that I had to go to eNom, who held my domain name, and get all kinds of authorization and verification codes. Let me tell you, eNOM is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE to deal with. I sent them emails, I phoned them, I faxes them...and so far, they still haven't replied.

First, however, before I could even email support at eNom, I had to create an account. ... To make a very long story short, I finally managed to change my domain name settings at eNOM. I then managed to submit a renewal request at Registerfly. That was over a week ago. My site just went offline. I checked my account, and my renewal is still being "processed."

This is all just unbelievable. Talk about BAD BUSINESS.

So at this moment, my business is in limbo while I, once again, fight with Registerfly over my domain name.

To be on the safe side, be careful who you register your domain with.

TET System Update

Hello fellow netpreneurs.

I hope everything has been going well for you. I haven't updated the blog in a week or so due to medical issues...but I'll try to post more often.... Anyway, on to the stuff your here to read about.

I must say I am having some success with the Traffic Exchange Trickster Program. Although it took some work to finally get my affiliate link right in ebook and, thusly, on the order page. I had to finally give in and watch the video. The reason I didn't watch it to begin with is because I'm stuck with a dial-up connection. Video is agonizingly slow and usually so broken up it's nearly impossible to watch or hear. But I had to do it, so I spent an hour waiting for it to load. It was worth it. Once I watched it I easily added my links and got everything set up properly.

Now for the update on the nitty-gritty. My list is growing slowly, but steadily. I've sold one resell package and I'm getting a decent amount of hits to my landing page (about 100 a day). That isn't really much, but I've been so busy with getting my gift packages prepared and set up for some great JV Giveaways that I haven't been doing as much promotion and traffic generation as I usually do.

While I'm on the subject, if you're interested in getting tons of free, high-quality products like ebooks, software, memberships, scripts, etc. you need to sign up for a few giveaways. And if you have a product to promote...there's no better way to do it than with a giveaway. Read my next post for more information on giveaways.

Adsense is one of the most popular forms of additional income generation. If you're not familiar with Google's Adsense you can read more about it here.

Amazon
Amazon offers a variety of products that you can promote and earn a commission with. Myself, because of the nature of my businesses, my primary products are books. But check them out and see what they've got to offer.

Clickbank
Clickbank is the largest affiliate network on the web. They literally have tens of thousands of electronic products you can promote and earn commission from. The best part of joining Clickbank, other than it's free, is that THEY pay you directly (rather than the individual product developers) so you're guaranteed to get paid.

Wordpress.com SUCKS!!!

For several months I had been posting the progress (and sometimes lack of progress) on my blog. I have my own blog on my server, but I don't like it, so I decided just to use wordpress. FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AT ALL, THEY SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT. I didn't post anything offensive, nor did I break any other rules according to their terms of service. But one of the clauses in the TOS is that they can cancel your account anytime, for no reason at at. Now because of the suspension, I lost earnings, readers and even more costly, my good reputation.

For my past readers, if you've managed to get here, I'll try to retrieve my files from wordpress, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably end up having to start all over again.
